Posted: 3/26/08 at 11:07pmB D Wong was NOT in the Boston production of Face Value, but the actor he replaced, Dennis Dun, was Chinese-American. I don't think there's any true-life counterpart to DHH's dilemma in Yellow Face, either from David Henry Hwang's own experience or anyone else's -- I think that part is all made up.
