Just borrowed these two cast recordings, along with Anything Goes, My Fair Lady, Adam Pascal's Civilian.

Which one came first?

I love What More Can I Say?.

What are some of your favorites?

Not two very popular shows, but you think people would click on this thread to learn more.

I also like "Days Like This."

MARCH was first.

"Unlikely Lovers" always gets to me.

Didn't see the original off-b'way productions, but I did see the combined "Falsettos" on Broadway 4 times. Loved, Loved, Loved it. Michael Rupert was phenominal.

'What More Can I Say' is a beautiful song. I also adore 'The Games I Play' and 'What would I Do?' breaks my heart.

Pick up "In Trousers" for the story of Marvin's earlier life.

God, I love this show! It changed my life in many ways. Brilliant score and the performances on Broadway where phenomenal! I love all the other songs mentioned but "Father To Son" gets me every time too. I also love "I'm Breaking Down," talk about hysterical!

In Trousers is one of the most underrated works in musical theatre history. Truly amazing and one of my favs.

Which one came first?

Of course MARCH OF THE FALSETTOS, considering what happens to Whizzer in FALSETTOLAND, which follows directly after MARCH.

In Trousers is one of the most underrated works in musical theatre history. Truly amazing and one of my favs.

I saw this yesterday at Toronto's Fringe Festival. I enjoyed it, but its value to me is as a prequel to the more accomplished MARCH OF THE FALSETTOS and FALSETTOLAND. I found the narrative in IN TROUSERS convoluted and lacking shape. It's interesting to see how James Lapine later helped Finn hone his raw talent and storytelling skills in the later works.
