Fan Mail to Tours/Regional Theatres?

Can you write fanmail to shows that stop for tours for 2 days on each stop for a signed playbill? Will they respond if I put a SASE? Also, can you write to regional theatres? I want to write to Papermill this season, to get some signed playbills? Will they respond???

Tours that are that short: no. Your best bet would be to send it to the agent of the specific actor you want to write to. Most regional thatres you would be safe in writing to. Depending on the theatre, I would clarify c/o THEATRE NAME, ATTN: PRODUCTION, ACTOR'S NAME. For example at the Guthrie here in Minneapolis, which is a bit larger than the Papermill in that they usually have 5 productions (2-3 in performance and 2-3 in rehearsal at a time since they have 3 theatres within the building), if you write an actor and it gets their while they are in production they will get it. So it's worth a try.
