THE PRODUCERS
INTO THE WOODS

LES MIZ has a great book to it as well. They pack quite a story into 3 hours!

"TO LOVE ANOTHER PERSON IS TO SEE THE FACE OF GOD"- LES MISERABLES--- "THERE'S A SPECIAL KIND OF PEOPLE KNOWN AS SHOW PEOPLE... WE'RE BORN EVERY NIGHT AT HALF HOUR CALL!"--- CURTAINS

Yes I must also add Les Misèrables.

And I might as well say it: The Phantom of the Opera.

I have to say ONCE! I love the new characters and how it showed the story. You learned about the characters quickly and you loved them. My list is: Once, ALNM, and The Light in the Piazza.

I'd say Fiddler on the Roof and Guys and Dolls are the best written libretto's.

I also want to say Billy Elliot, I think Lee Hall did a great job adapting his story to the stage.

CITY OF ANGELS is brilliant.

So, so funny, and so cleverly constructed, and so underrated! Truly one of the few books that could play just as well without the score.
