I would have to say The Lion King. I think the way its staged is absolutly brilliant. Second would have to be Beauty And The Beast.
I haven't seen Tarzan yet, but it doesn't really interest me so I might just wait and see if it tours, and catch it then. But I'm very much looking forward to seeing The Little Mermaid when it opens on Broadway.
so. much. drama.

Oh, I know!!! And the part when the sprinklers...ahhm...I mean, "rain"...yeah,...pours down on the audience and the children are crying...it's truly magical!
I'd say TLK from what I've seen...MP will be judged this fall.

My favorite live production of a Disney show was Snow White and the Seven Dwarts which played several weeks at the Radio City Music Hall in the late 70s or early 80s. Of the more recent batch of Disney shows on Broadway, my favorite is Beauty and the Beast. Next would be The Lion King, although it took seeing it twice to really appreciate it. In last place of the Disney shows I've seen was Aida. Because I thought the show was boring, I found my mind wandering and when I would focus on the stage again I couldn't tell if they were still singing the same song or if they were doind another song which sounded like most of the others
I wouldn't dream of seeing Tarzan. I have the soundtrack of the film and the score does nothing for me
