Short story, I am working on a breakdown of art as a higher power - drawing on pieces that influenced me and certain snippets of The Birth of Tragedy and Poetics (etc)

QUESTION: What are your favorite quotes either about art or from art about life or the way we see things? :)

Some of my favorites include "Nothing I do is ever good enough....I see a rose and that's perfect." from All That Jazz and Matthew Bourne's quote from his interview "That part is based on 'Rear Window,' the part about voyeurism. The duets could be love duets. But its the difference between violence and love-making, and how close they can be."

P.S. The last time I logged on might have been when I was working form my school issued laptop and now I'm 32 so....Hi Again!

When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere
