If I Can't Love Her from Beauty and the Beast---literally can bring me to tears or make me blissfully happy-i didnt love beauty and the beast that much, but that song to me is so powerful--whenever i listen to it, its just indescribable, just ask broadwaykate---literally the part where he cuts out and the orchestra cuts in and then it all swells to the conclusion...im in heaven

Impossible Dream from Man of La Mancha
To Each His Dulcinea from Man of La Mancha-so beautiful, probably my favorite, and it's not even a lead's song!

Empty Chairs from Les Miserables
Bring Him Home from LesMiserables

***You're Nothing Without Me (and subsequently I'm Nothing Without You) from City of Angels--and i know this is a duet but i just gotta say- they make me oh so very happy!
always,
~m~

"On My Own" Eponine Les Miz

Hearing it sung by Lea Salonga was THE BEST. Not a dry eye.

What is she doing these days? Why doesn't she do an album
of show tunes. Her voice is SPECTACULAR!

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

I'll cover you (reprise!) - Rent

Anything that Heather Headley sings in Aida. Nuff said? (But since I'll be gratuitous, I'll list Easy As Life and The Past Is Another Land).

Anything that Adam Pascal sings. Ever. Ok, fine. One Song Glory. (I'm starting to sound like a broken record!)

And why hasn't anyone said Your Eyes from Rent yet?

Gesthemane (sp?) - JCS

I'm going home - Rocky Horror Show (maybe not the *best* solo, but RHS deserves props somewhere!)
