Feb 25th Sunday Matinee of JERSEY BOYS

Was anyone else there that night? Just as the first two actors were coming out for the curtain call, someone came from behind the stage, stopped the action and the music, and asked, "Is there a doctor in the house?" The show stopped cold. A person in the front right orchestra had collapsed and an ambulance was called. It was a horrific ending to the show. I LOVE the curtain call and the subsequent singing, and of course it didn't go on... does anyone know what happened to this person?
I have never had that happen at a show before!

Wow! That must have been crazy!

That reminded me a bit of what happened at The Boy From Oz where in the middle of the show, a lady screamed or something like that and a man was passed out or something and an ambulance was called. Does anyone remember that one?

On November 18th, 2006 at the 8pm show of A CHORUS LINE, a man passed out in the middle. Michael Beresse asked the family if he wanted the shop to be stopped (it was right before a montage, so it was now or never) and they said no. So during the performance, meds came in and carried the man out.

Thanks, the mystery is solved! I do hope that man is ok...
It was a frightening moment, not to mention a horrible way to end the show!
