Feedback on Josh Strickland

I've seen some info about Josh from those of you who have seen him in Tarzan, but can you give me more specific info about his performance? Voice? Acting? Overall impressions? He is someone I know personally (in fact his head shot on some websites is one I did a few years ago). I'm coming to see the show this summer and am really excited that Josh has this tremendous opportunity. All info will be appreciated!

He's very good. I was watching it and thinking that he could be a Tony contender. He's still finding his footing and will improve over the course of previews.

I loved his performance. I think he has a fantastic voice, he and Jenn blend together very well. Seeing him up close from the front row, his facial expressions are wonderful, and he does an excellent job going between acting like a gorilla and a man. Looking forward to seeing him grow in the role!
And he is very nice and friendly to everyone at the stage door too, always a plus!
