Female Leading Player Auditions

So, this year my school is doing Pippin, & I really would like to audition for Leading Player. I'm having such a hard time finding a song to audition with. Can anyone help?
Some context :I'm an alto with a soprano belt ( G3-F5 for my music buffs), & I think the song can be about 24 measures. Any suggestion would be great :) Thanks guys !

Are you sure your Director is looking for a female Leading Player? Is that even permitted by the licensing agency?

You shouldn't sing from the show unless your director specifically gives you an ok.
