Trying to find someone who's seen all 3... may be difficult but for anyone who has seen all 3, or 2/3, which would you recommend? Will likely be trying to see these from the rear mezz or balcony, not sure how those are in these theatres either. All 3 look fantastic. I recently saw the Waverly Gallery and really enjoy that in terms of a play. Decent mix of comedy and humor with drama. Any advice would be greatly appreciate it!
Been more of a musical goer my entire life but have recently gotten myself into more straight plays. So the Ferryman is a little intimidating but I've heard nothing but raves about it.
I've only see Ferryman (I'm seeing TKAM and Network in January), but I would highly recommend it. I'm definitely more of a musical goer, so I actually found that the Ferryman was a good transition to straight plays because it's such a large cast (including an infant and live animals) with a lot going on. The subject matter is heavy, but that's true of a lot of musicals and the drama is intense. I got standing room rush tickets, and the 3+ hours on my feet raced by. It got me excited to see more plays and I saw American Son the next day and really enjoyed that, but with only four characters I actually found my attention waning and that was an 80 minute play I actually had a seat for. (I'd still recommend it though!)
