Anyone hear/know ANYTHING about the Fiddler on the Roof tour(?)/sit-down(?) in Canada?
How long is it supposed to run?
Just curious.
Thanks so much!

Ohhh thank you! You are amazing for knowing all of that info.
Is it just playing in Montreal?

Theodore Bikel?! He's in his 80's! Isn't he a little old?

you're never too old to do what you love to do. and as long as they are calling him, he'll go!
the schedule says may 2,2006- may 7,2006
i don't know why, but that seems odd that it is only scheduled to play 5 days. i can't tell if its a misprint or if thats right.
if i hear any more info..i will let ya know.

Andrew, I agree with your sentiment, in general, but it totally depends on the role. An 80 year old playing Tevye is stretching it, more than a little. Age, in general, is no barrier to theatre. Some of the absolute best performances I've seen onstage in the hundreds of shows I've seen were by William Hutt who is 85. Most amazing Canadian actor, ever.
