'Fiddler on the Roof' at NCT (Raleigh) - Shameless Plug

"Would I make it up?"

--Paul Sorvino (he's done a lot of work) is starring as Tevye in The North Carolina Theatre's production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.

Performances are January 22-30 at the BTi Center, Downtown Raleigh.

Tickets range from $15-60.

*There is a STUDENT PREVIEW performance on January 21st @ 7pm and tickets for students and teachers are only $10 for any seat in the house* A "Talk-Back" session will follow where the audience can ask questions.

**The stage door is located behind the theatre (under Kennedy Theatre awning) if you hope to meet Paul...not sure what his plans are yet...but he seems like he'll want to meet fans who are waiting.**


We are working hard to put this show up- this week is tech week..."Pft pft pft - G-d Forbid" I'm performing in the show and couldn't be more proud of the talented cast and their hard work during this ONE WEEK of rehearsals. Oy!

Ok...So is it honestly really good? I live in Richmond, Virginia but occasionally come down to see things at the NCT...I thought Ragtime was pretty disappointing though, with the exception of a few things (including Julia Murney)...I am not denying your brilliance in the show, just wondering if I should come down for it.

Yes, I've been told that even in the back with a big wool coat and bowler- I shine like no other star. Hey- I'm non-Equity and just glad to get my points and get resume experience with talented actors. :)

I guess you'll have to see if you have some extra $ and time to blow once it opens, and if so, COME ON DOWN!

I guess you have to have an acquired taste for regional theatre.

I'm very upset I missed your production of SEUSSICAL.

Can't make it for Fiddler, though. That's when I open "To Kill A Mockingbird" in Greensboro.
