Hi everyone,
I want to try and get SRO tickets for Hedwig on the 17th, the 7 o'clock show. I know I will have to get there EARLY, really early. Do you know what time theaters are usually willing to allow people to camp out? Will I have to wait until after the 10PM performance is over?
Also, obviously I want to see the 7 o'clock show and not the 3 o'clock. Do I just make that known and hope people use the honor system?
Thanks for you help!

Posted: 8/4/14 at 3:41pmI've camped out overnight for a last show, but not at the Belasco. We arrived as the show was letting out the night before and no one bugged us.

Posted: 8/4/14 at 5:39pmI was going to rush (really stand in line for standing room) for the final performance of Lady Day. I went ahead and purchased a ticket. More than I wanted to spend, but at least I know I am getting in. My trip in September will be a first,in that, I am seeing a 1st preview (On the Town) for the first time and seeing the last performance of a show (Lady Day) for the first time.

Yeah I know, I was there yesterday trying to get tickets. I got tickets for the 7 PM Saturday show and they gave out 16 tickets then.
I know the amount varies per day but they do SRO as long as the show is sold out.

I did already. I did standing room on Saturday and was second in line and saw the show. It was incredible and I went the next morning and the line was really long at 10 AM.
I want to see his last show.

6 AM. It was surprisingly not too bad on Saturday; I could've easily gotten there at noon and been guaranteed tickets. Then I went on Sunday at 10 AM and was all the way at the back of the line, the first person got there at 4 AM.
It really all depends on the day and the people.
