Finishing Up My Plans

So, I'm just about done booking all of the shows for my upcoming trip, in March.

So far I have tickets for Hello Dolly, Hamilton, On Your Feet, The Present, Cher (In DC), The Glass Menagerie, Dear Evan Hanson, The Great Comet, Waitress, Groundhog Day, and Sunset Boulevard. I'm still waiting for tickets to go on sale for War Paint, and for Naked Boys Singing (we are just using that as a time filler).

I do have a question: I have room for one more show. I'm hoping that Spongebob or Singing in the Rain will end up happening. Should I give up hope that either of those shows will make it to NYC by March? Also, is it likely that On Your Feet will close before I go? I noticed they recently put yet another block of seats on sale through August of next year! If if that closes I wouldnt know what to replace it with. Any suggestions?

I'd leave one spot open for now, never know what may be happening yet. I mean, Falsettos could extend without Borle? (The NY Times did suggest he wouldn't be available for an extension, as opposed to it closing for certain)

There are quite a few more shows that open in April that might already be in previews, depending when in March you're in NY. There's Anastasia, Come From Away, Miss Saigon, The Bandstand. I'm excited about all of those.

Then are are In Transit and A Bronx Tale that should still be around in March, unless either of them completely tanks.

Also, you could consider leaving a slot open to see something Off-Broadway or to go to a cabaret like 54 Below or Cafe Carlyle.



As someone else said, Singing In The Rain is officially delays. And rumors are Spongebob wants to take the Marquis. If that's true you'll either see On Your Feet or Sponge Bob (or neither if you're there doing the transition...)
