First regional production of NEWSIES

The first regional production of Newsies will be performed at the Marriott Theater in Illinois.

So excited!! I live near there, and Newsies is one of my favorite shows!

That theater is in the round, and a pretty small stage. Will be interesting to see how they do it.

Yeah, I think when Marriott is saying "regional premiere" they mean midwest premiere, not first ever regional production.

If we want to get technical, Papermill was the first regional production of Newsies.
