#0Flex Pass for NYC Fringe...any good?
Posted: 8/12/06 at 10:35amHi! I'm flying to NYC on the 15-27th for the Fringe, and I was hoping to buy a couple of flex passes. I see that the pass does not guarantee a seat for any particular show...has anyone here used the fringe pass before and been able to see most everything they wanted? Or did you find it better to purchase specific tickets ahead of time--even though its more expensive?

The issue three kinds of passes. Five plays, ten plays and unlimited. Depending on how many plays you want to see, there is definitely a discount per show. You do need to go to FringeCentral to get the individual show tickets since you are issued a card that needs to be punched. Not sure how it works if you go to the theatre before the performance. It is first come first serve on any tickets, so if you know what you want to see, I suggest you go to FringeCentral and just get all the tickets in one shot.
Hope that helps a bit.
