I wonder if either the original 1970's production or the recent revival were ever preserved for the Lincoln Center library. I know the great unwashed masses can not see it but it is nice to know if either one is there. I saw both of them & it is a pity the Paper Mill Playhouse production was not taped.

I would love to see this musical preserved on film with a killer cast shot in an actual decaying vaudeville theater - many of which populate the city.

I believe the Paper Mill Playhouse version was taped for Lincoln Center...but I could be wrong...

The original in the '70s was not recorded. I believe that the revival that played on Broadway was recorded.
