Is there a way to "follow" a thread and get the emailed responses without actually posting? Many times I don't have an opinion or anything to add, but I'm interested in getting the email responses from folks.

Just above the thread title there are three options: Print Thread, Email Thread, and Subscribe. I've never used it so I'm not sure if it works, but I would try Subscribe.
