Footage from Jude law's hamlet

That makes it look a lot more atmospheric than it actually is... and I liked Jude a LOT in Faustus, but as we've talked about on the other thread, don't get your hopes up too much. When you see the RSC Hamlet on telly next year, you'll understand the failings of this one more so. Gugu was great, though, and Kevin McNally and Penelope Wilton were also strong (her death scene was very affecting, I thought).

While we're talking videos, although he didn't play it this way on stage (much more manic, and Ed Bennett also gave an utterly incredible performance in the role while David was off sick) this interesting video gives an idea of how differently David played it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ymh7ZOgt0HU.
