I've been meaning to post this since September but the original Chuck Cranston in Footloose, Billy Hartung, is no longer on Broadway but he teaches young actors and actresses. I go to a creative and performing arts high school and he teaches me acting and musical theatre history. Now he does regional theatre in Pittsburgh and is currently in 'Hearts Are Wild' at Pittsburgh City Theatre. I went to see the show with my school and the show itself was amazing but I was really there to see him in it.

Posted: 2/17/06 at 8:45pmBilly Hartung also notably appeared in the Papermill production of Follies. It seemed his star was really rising, and then he was gone..glad to hear he's still working and passing on what he has learned.

What first-hand knowledge does he offer versus some "I-just-studied-alot" instructor? ...And good luck with your studies...
