I should add its had 4 to 5 star reviews in Chichester ...which is a regional theatre..a short rehearsal period...an even shorter tech rehearsal time...no previews...and it sounds like it works.
"He was rich, she was poor. He was sporty, she played music. But they fell in love."
I'm sorry but that's HILARIOUS.

Is Michael Ball in it? He is so awful. He would almost be as satisfying to punch in the face as Andre Rieu.
The New Musical, Jonathan Livingston Seagull will be opening....when??
Tamerlano - the tone of your opening post suggests this is a terrible idea, but the tone of your follow-up post is rather kinder. I have no feelings one way or the other about this production, but I'm interested to know which way your feelings actually go, seeing as they seem to go in both ways!
From what I've heard, it's rather good, but if the original film made your teeth want to rot out of your head in disgust, the musical will NOT be changing your mind. XD
At least the musical won't have Ali Macgraw.
