For Tarzan Fans

Tarzan has an outstanding cast, and here's what some of them are doing on their days off:

Chester Gregory II, will be performing music from his new CD at the Triad Theatre (W. 72nd) on Monday, April 30th at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 and I reserved four. Anyone want to join me? I'm not sure I'll recognize him if he sings right side up, but it ought to be a great show! He has more info posted on his MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/chestergregory

Also, Niki Scalera, who understudies Jane and performs in the Ensemble, will be featured in two staged readings of Idaho! (a new musical) on Fiday April 6th at 2:00 p.m. and Monday April 9th at 6:30 p.m. at the New Dance Group Studios on W. 38th Street. I reserved four tickets for the Monday reading also. I believe the word we're looking for is 'spoof'. That's how Niki described it to me and the description on her web site reads. I re-read the board agreements here and couldn't find the mandate that every reaction to anything new be negative. I thought it would be a fun night out for some fans.

OK, an update. The Idaho reading is sold out and all of my seats are taken. I have my fingers crossed for Niki and the cast, should be a fun night. I may still have a reservation or two free for Chester's show on the 30th if anyone wants to go and see if he can sing right side up. The cuts on his MySpace page are pretty awesome. Please let me know ASAP.
