I've been obsessed with his interpretation of this song for YEARS and it was quite fun to see him acting it. Anthony Warlow is definitely teh hotness

You can actually get this production on DVD. It's region 4, but worth it! Although close-ups are not kind to David Hobson; he makes a wonderful Frederick, but it's very difficult to disguise the fact he's 47 playing 21.
Anthony Warlow is SO awesome that he can play the Pirate King *and* Johnny Depp AT THE SAME TIME. :3
My parents just went on holiday to Australia. They're bringing me back a bevy of Opera Australia w/Anthony Warlow DVDs. Can't wait! ^_^

Posted: 5/16/07 at 5:44pmI have the region 1 edition of his performance in Patience -- which I saw before seeing the NYCOpera production. I've heard fantastic things about this production of Penzance, and will very likely add it to my collection.
