If you live nowhere near Broadway, and have only a few shows each year that you get a chance to see - what shows do you most wish would come to your city (either for the first time or again).
My top 3 for Seattle would be
1. Les Miserables
2. Rock of Ages
3. In the Heights (which is coming to Seattle!)
Special Bonus: The Glee live tour, cause I love that show.
Edit: Please post the city you wish they would come to. Thanks!

I go to NYC twice a year as the stuff I usually enjoy never makes it to Seattle for one reason or another. I'm sick of the 5th promising Sondheim and not delivering 2 seasons in a row.

Wouldn't be shocked if the 5th gets the Sweeny Todd revival in 2011/2012 though.
I really wish I could afford to go to NYC even once every 4 years. What's your secret? Microsoft millionaire? :)

5th did their own production of Sweeney when the revival was on Broadway. They won't do it again anytime soon.
The only Sondheim they haven't done: Merrily We Roll Along, Pacific Overtures, Assassins, Passion, Anyone Can Whistle, Saturday Night, Road Show
Actually I don't really spend a terrible amount to go to NYC. It can be done on a budget if needed. Hotels are very affordable these days.

My girlfriend has never been, and she's even a bigger Broadway fan than me. I've only been once, and was a poor college student who saved for 3 years and could only afford to see one show... which was Rent. Unfortunately I wasn't a big fan, but I know I'm in the minority there.
Now that I have a job, I'd love to see more shows. Problem is I'm on a budget and have bills to pay, so getting out to the east coast to see some musicals isn't exactly wise at this juncture. Though if I knew a pretty cheap way to swing it maybe I could go this summer.
Now I'm terribly off-topic. Apologies!

Is that a dedicated theatre fan, who saves to come to Broadway and only can afford to see one show, I take my hat off to you.
it is a surprise living in London how many shows do not come over here, for example; Aida - Next to Normal - In The Heights - Tarzan - The Little Mermaid - Finnans Rainbow - Ragtime - Gypsy - Young Frankenstein etc etc.
However this gives me a good excuse to come over to Broadway once or twice a year.

Trainwreck: I don't know, but I feel as if Les Mis has been here a few times, more than enough for those that wanted to go see it do so (unless you are new-ish to the Seattle area).
Anyway, I am still waiting for Seattle versions of:
1. Grey Gardens (true story, I went to "Alice in Wonderland" IMAX 3-D last night at Lincoln Square in Bellevue, and after the movie was over, I recognized the voice being played as the lights were coming up. They were playing "Revolutionary Costume for Today" from "Grey Gardens"! This was totally out of left field and completely unexpected! There must be some musical theater fan working somewhere in there!)
2. Merrily We Roll Along (I was so expecting the 5th Avenue to announce this show for their upcoming season, instead of "Oklahoma", since they already have "Guys & Dolls" as their "safe bet" show)
3. Sunset Boulevard (Yes, I traveled up to Vancouver to see Diahann Carroll, and I also did see the Petula Clark stripped down tour that came to the Paramount, but I want to see the big version again)
As a bonus, if I could turn back time, I would have loved to see the tour of Evita that came through a few years back with Raul Esparza. My sister and I are still kicking ourselves for missing out on this because we are both big fans of his.
