Can anyone tell me if there is, or are plans for, a current Forbidden Broadway cast recording? The most current one I know of and have is 2001.Thank you in advance.

My wife & I have seen it many times & it appears that no matter how many times you go you see some of the same numbers over & over again.I daresay about a third of what is on stage now is on the last CD . We saw it about a year or so ago & they were still doing Annie & the Chita & Fosse numbers. They should retire the Cameron Mac Intosh number. I realize POTO is still running but this skit is so old it has whiskers on it.

If we see it every few years we generally see about 70 % new stuff.

The answer to the question (if you haven't searched the board or checked online somewhere) is that yes, there is a new CD coming out. It's due out this Tuesday.

sabrelady, where'd you get the CD?

I I got the FB: SVU CD on Thursday as well (Borders in my town has a habit of putting things out on the rack early). I absolutely love it! My CD player is on repeat for #13 Wickeder. So Funny. Its great that Christine Pedi makes and appearance on the CD too. Ok, back to listening to it!

I pre-ordered "SVU" last week. I've seen it 5 times already, and I can't wait to have the CD to listen to all the time. Can't wait for Tuesday. Gotta love same-day delivery! re: re: re: Forbidden Broadway CD

I am gobsmacked! I got it here in Toronto @ Song & Script, one of our 2 B'way oriented music shops ( the other is TheatreQ's) But it was the last one- they will certainly reorder and they have promised me the DRS as sson as it's issued. ( maybe they will get that early too!!) Who'd a thunk a Ca-nucklehead would get it foist!!
