Well, when I heard that Felicia Finley and Ed Staudenmayer had returned to "Forbidden Broadway", I had to take a trip uptown to see it. And I must say... it was phenomenal!
(The following MAY contain some spoilers...)
The "Special Victims Unit" opening was cute... as always...
Felicia's Christine Applegate in Sweet Charity was off the wall hilarious...
It Sucks To Be You has been revamped to include Brooke Sheilds in Chicago and Norbert Leo Butz (who everyone mistakes for John Lithgow)...
Ed's Hugh Jackman paired with James Sasser's Harvey Firestein was a gas! Hysterical! Hugh announces he is going to perform a duet with Aretha Franklin, but instead Harvey appears claiming Aretha ran off when she heard his first note!
The Patti Lupone number was funny... they added a new line... "I play a tuba and use a dialect from Cuba"....
I don't know where to begin to describe the Light in the Piazza spoof... I'm not sure if I have ever laughed so hard before.
Felicia's facial expressions were so hilarious; the three of them broke and started laughing. Jeanne Montano couldn't keep a straight face... so much fun!
Ed's Robert Goulet number was sooo clever! His impersonation was frighteningly realistic...
Wickeder was amazingly good. Jeanne played on hell of a good Kristin Chenoweth... and Felicia's Idina Menzel was RIGHT ON! She sounded AND looked just like her!
The Spelling Bee take off was by far a highlight of the evening... Even though it was about 30 seconds long... "Mr. Barfee, please spell IN MY LIFE." Using his magic foot, he spelled out F-L-O-P!
Jeanne's Yoko Ono number was sooooo good! She sang a spoof of "Imagine", and explains how she wants a chunk of "Lennons" weekly gross...
James Sasser's Harvey in Fiddler was priceless! The whole number has been redone to now incorporate Rosie... who is not safe from the gang's jokes...
Beauty's Been Decreased never gets old for me... it's one of my favorites and Jeanne was one of the best I've seen...
The Chitty number was a riot... Felicia dressed as the car, while Jeanne played a doll and Ed played Raul Esparza....
The Kathleen Turner/Cherry Jones number was a scream... Jeanne and Felicia have great chemistry together, and really work off each others jokes...
And just when you think they've spoofed it all... you're wrong... Spamalot was one of the funniest numbers of the evening...
Afterwards, we got to meet the cast... and I have to say... they are probably the sweetest bunch of performers I've ever seen...
So, if you're looking for a great way to spend the evening, don't miss the lastest jokes at "Forbidden Broadway". The cast is perfect right now and I can promise that you will not be disappointed!

They are very good. Ed, is a standout!
I love Jeanne as Yoko Ono. That scream makes me howl.
I could do without Beauty at this point. I have seen it more times than I want to admit.
Felicia has her own dance moves, kind of wacky but funny.
Megan's Piazza was right on the MONEY but Felicia is talented.
Jen is a true gem and I get misty when she is not there!
