Did anyone see them do there "Hairspray" or "Wicked" Segmants. If you did how was it? What did they do?
Yes. Many times. Go and see it today. It is your last chance to see PEDI doing Dame Edna. Megan does not do Edna.
But if you can't go tonight. Go see Megan in DEFYING CHENOWETH.
Megan does a better Idina then Pedi. Pedi does every other skit better.

I finally saw "Forbidden Broadway SVU" last night, and I have to sae it was amazing!
For "Hairspray", they did "Welcome to the Tonys!" (to the tune of "Welcome to the Sixtys"). It was Marissa and Harvey singing about how no one at the Tony's is straight, except MAYBE Hugh Jackman.
I also loved the new opening! Little Orphan Annie getting murderder, and the Broadway SVU coming into investigate...
"The Boy Who's Odd" number was ammusing. Christine Pedi's dead on Liza impersonation was a highlight of the evening.
It was an honor to finally see Christine Pedi in the show. All her numbers were great. Elaine Stritch, Dame Edna, Carol Channing, Ethel Merman, Edie Falco... the woman in a impersonatio goddess!
I got to meet all 4 of the cast memebers after the show, and get pics with them. I ended up actually having a long chat with Christine Pedi... shes a really nice lady!
However, TONIGHT IS HER LAST SHOW!!!! GO TONIGHT!!!! GO TO TKTS NOW!!!!!! It wasn't sold out last night, so if you can go tonight, by all means, DO IT!

Hugh Jackman is definitely not gay... and don't you think it's stereotyping Broadway cast members automatically saying that they are gay? I don't think that they all are, but it's just a misconception. Maybe some are, but not all of them.

Corine - I also liked "You Can't Stop My Seat" better....
Also, I thought the "Fiddler" segment was a bit long... They could have summed it all up with the Harvey as Tevye "If I Were a Straight Man" number.... that was cute...
I LOVE forbidden broadway..I can't wait until the album for this comes out...it's killing me!!

LoudIrishGirl, are you saying you've never heard of "Forbidden Broadway"???!!! It's been running for, I don't know, 25 years or so? For a time, there were productions in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., as well as New York. As new shows open on Broadway, the material is updated. My wife did both female roles, years ago.
no swiftynifty, it is not actually marissa and harvey, it is people dressed up like them pretending to be them.
i haven't seen forbidden broadway since 2000, do they still do old stuff too or is it all mostly new?

kitkatgirl - "Forbidden Broadway SVU" is all new material... There a a few repeats... "Beauty's Been Decreased" and "The Lion King/Can You Feel The Pain Tonight"...
And i wonder why you left off one of the d's in Forbidden.
Was it for Dazzling?
Or Delicious. Or Demented.
LOL.
Forbidden Broadway is one of the funniest things I've ever seen! I would definitley suggest checking it out!

Saw it in October....The "Wicked" segment was a rivalry between the the two stars....that was so-so.....My favorite still is "The Circle of Mice" which parodies "The Lion King" and savagely berates the Disnifying of Broadway..."Kiddie Trash" and "Theme Park Shows replacing what we we used to call content" are among the lyrical snippets that send my Disney hating heart soaring.
Row Send,
You did not see Defying Chenoweth with Megan. She does an incredible Idina. And Jen Simard has CHENOWETH down to such perfection. I tell you Jen Simard is really incredible.
I forget to mention her but her Chenoweth, Her Bernadette, SHE IS FUNNY!
