I'm not sure why, but Playbill.com hasn't updated their SEATING CHARTS section....they're still showing the Hilton as the Ford Center.
I was looking at tickets for CHitty on Ticketmaster and saw that my potential seats were row T 115-117. I looked at the seating chart and the seat numbers only go up through 116. Anybody know whats up with that?
Also does the hilton theatre start seating with row AA? or does it just start with A?

IT was renamed when 42nd Street left.
Most likely seats were pulled when they changed the shape of the stage.
The theatre has all even numbered seats on one side, and all odd-numbered seats on the other.

The aisle of the center section of the orchestra is 117. It's not on the seating chart for some reason, but it does exist.
OT: Is this the theater that was built for Ragtime?
Yep.
Thanks.
The first row of seats is AA.
This is my favorite theater, no matter what its name is. Say waht you want about Drabinsky (and he was a criminal), but the man knew how to design a theater. It's as if every complain I've had about other theaters (lobby is too small, no leg room, bad sight lines, not enough bathrooms, etc.) has been taken care of in this building.
Incidentally, now that it's the Hilton Theater, Hilton Hotels has a booth set up in the lobby where you can book a vacation to almost anywhere. There's always an attendant there too. I thought for sure this would be a big waste (after all, who books a vacation during the intermission of Chitty?), but every time I've been to the show, the booth has been pretty crowded. One family actually booked a vacation!
