Sidewalk Tree sung by Ralph Carter is one of my favorite songs from Raisin!!! The entire score is phenomenal. I think it would do very well if produced today in a small venue. The 1974 Broadway season was truly wonderful. I remember watching Over Hear with the Andrews Sisters at the Shubert Theatre Orchestra seated $7.50!!
Those were the days!!!!
