While we agree there are important conversations to have on practices in the industry, we feel that an anonymous message board is not the best platform to have a nuanced discussion on such issues and any pending litigation.

As such, we only allow discussion on “on-stage” aspects. We appreciate your understanding.

This policy is both for the protection of the site itself, and for members from becoming involved in their own legal issues via content that (intended or not) might be disparaging to individuals or companies especially on an active legal matter. (Not to mention, often times the discussion does veer toward inappropriate.)  We agree the issue is important, which is why we're covering it and will continue to cover it editorially. It's not a perfect policy, but we appreciate your understanding and adhering to it for now.

We also take all site feedback seriously, and any PMs you send to the Moderator account will be shared with the team.

Discussions of off-stage events, rumors or hearsay are not permitted, and would fall under our personal attacks rule. To further clarify, allegations of alleged crimes are not permitted. This message board is not an appropriate place for discussions of this nature - legal issues, definitions, abuse, and such. There are important conversations to be had here, but an anonymous theatre message board is not the correct venue. These are important issues, and if you have something to report we are happy to connect you with either law enforcement, or one of a number of journalists that are equipped to pursue.
