Foundry Theatre's Putting it Together is all class

The onstage (Foundry Theatre) Sydney cast of Putting it Together (including the 3 enthusiastic musicians) bounce off the music and lyrics of various Sondheim pieces setting the scene in the first part and land brilliantly in a vibrant part 2 with a fitting finale.  We really enjoyed seeing Jenni Little taking one of the major female roles in the early evening session and delivering a faultless and memorable performance.  The show relies on the wit of the lyrics but its noteworthy that the Piano and Percussion backing were fundamental to the success of the show and the musicians really deserved the sustained applause they received .   Strongly recommended to anyone who enjoys small cast musical theatre humorously exploring contemporary themes.  I'll be telling my friends to get tickets .
