Does anyone think this hurts Bosco's chances at a Tony nod?
He was incedibly poignant and human (and heartbreaking) in one of the most sterotypical characters in the play.
I'm sorry he has to leave early, but wish him luck with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
EDIT: You know you've picked a popular thread topic when after 10+ minutes, you are the person who gives it its first view.
Sigh.

Though he and the revival have been very well received, he may be hurting his Tony chances by leaving so early. There's also going to be a lot of competition in that category from not only his fellow cast members, but Ruben Santiago-Hudson and Anthony Chisholm in Gem of the Ocean, David Harbour who's playing Nick in the Virginia Woolf revival, whoever's playing Mitch in the Streetcar revival, the whole cast of Glengarry Glen Ross, Josh Lucas who's playing Jim in the Glass Menagerie revival and various actors in Pillowman, Julius Caesar, Brooklyn Boy, and whatever else makes it in before the Tony deadline. With all of that competition, Bosco may even be lucky to be nominated.

I know. That's why I wish he wasn't hurting his chances by leaving early.
Margo, now I completely see what you mean when you were talking to me about the difficulty of trying to start a thread about a play.
