Does anyone here frame their playbills? I know you can buy folders for them, but I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get plain, black frames for mine. (Like smaller versions of the ones they do for the posters...)
Any help?

I frame all of mine. I get those crappy frames from CVS where the glass pops out and in. There is a picture of an apple in the frame. They are like 4 bux and they actually look pretty good and the Playbills actually fit in them.

Playbill.com has them. I don't know if you can get them cheaper anywhere else, but that's where I got mine.

Playbill.com's are the best. They are designed to fit the playbill specifically so you don't have to measure the frame and mat or worry about ruining your playbill.

I also really like Playbill's binder's for storage.

The Triton Gallery also has some very cool plexy glass frames.

I have used those in the past.

I have a standing frame that holds a dozen 8x10s. It works really well to display a lot of playbills. You can leave the mats there (and even get coloroed ones) to go behind the playbills and it looks really cool. re: Frames for Playbills

i get this very nice black frame at the 99c store and it measure 81/2 x 12. it costs 99c..the glass pops out and i use balck construction paper for the background..it pops the colors..so in all i spend about 10 bucks a week..as ai have about 200 hundred more to go.

we just started framing our playbill covers using IKEA's "clips" 7 x 9.5" frame. at $4 for a package of 4 frames, it's a VERY economical way to go. and they don't look half bad!

I do what cturtle does - use the IKEA frames. The Playbills look great! I was afraid the frames would be discontinued so I have a stockpile of 3 sets down in my basement. re: Frames for Playbills

I tend to just put mine in a frame with the poster and pictures. I know that Walmart has good sizes and you can rotate them at an angle (if you know what I meean).

you say i'm weird! look at everyone you're sitting with! and hey, those guys over there just threw napkins up in the air like they were on something! it's contajous! you can't help it!
