check out the Gypsy/Bette Midler mentions in the other thread and let us know what you think of another Bette show on B'way...the last, I guess, was FIDDLER where she played one of the daughters. Hopefully the one who sings "Far From the Home I Love"....

No, she played Tzietel, the oldest who belts.

"Be glad you got a MAAAAAAN!" in MatchMaker.

Far from the home is too operatic and soft. Bette's too brassy. I heard she was good though, and I saw a pic, she definitely fit Tzeitel, rather than Hodel.
