IBDB has Frenchie listed as a former understudy for Joanne. Does anyone know if she ever went on? And did anyone ever see her as Joanne?

she's been on before. i saw her as joanne back in january, she was ok in the role. there just wasn't much chemistry between her and kelly.

Most people who have seen Frenchie's Joanne have said that she sucks in the role. SHe's not much of an actress. Her Effie in Dreamgirls proved that, to me.

i saw her as joanne in may. I didn't think she was very bad at all. Just not spectacular. I thought her singing was amazing, her acting sub-par. I don't think I'd want to see her in the role again, though.

I saw Frenchie as Joanne in March. She was spectacular! She did quite an amazing job! Her singing was incredible. Her acting did not bother me, but I guess could have been better. She was by far the best in the cast, when I saw the show...and rightly so!

Way back when the producers were rumored to be hesitant to give the roll to Gwen Stewart because of her weight. I wonder if that is a similar concern with Frenchie?
