I went two weeks ago and it wasn't all that crowded. I'm not sure about how many people there were because I didn't count. There were some good discounts, ($25 rear mezz) but I've heard they haven't offered that in awhile. Just show up and decide when you get there.

Coolkid, you keep asking about how the lottery/rush has been or will be. The fact is, no one can really know how a lottery or rush will be on any given day. There are many many things that affect how many people will be on the lottery, e.g. rain, snow, spring break, tourists, etc etc. Last Friday, there was a snowstorm so expect less people there. Therefore, last week would not be a good predictor of what next friday will be like. You can ask and ask and ask and ask but that would not give you a better chance of getting tickets from the lottery. Just show up on that day and see for yourself!

Omg,I have a question (please don't kill me for asking)
would the chances of winnin the lottery be higher if it really is raining for like rent, hairspray, or wicked... just a random thought

Lotteries are more crowded on bad weather days. Snow, rain, etc- more people (tourists) are stuck at their hotels in Times Square, so they stay in the area and see shows. During the huge blizzard last year, there were still 500 people at the Wicked lotto. Ave Q had about 100. It was nuts.

Coolkid, do you actually ever go to any of these shows you constantly ask about? I swear I see at least one thread per week from you about student rush/lotto policies, but I never see you actually post about the shows. Ever.

OMG..
literally there will be that much people to watch wicked when its raining?!?!?!?! >_> i thought that when its raining that would be the best day to actually have a chance of winning the lotto.. what about for rent or hairspray is it the same thing
