I know this is a shot in the dark, but I'm taking my friends to the city on friday but we already have something to do Friday night so I was wondering if any shows have Friday Mat's? We were thinking Rock f ages.

I am pretty sure most of the friday matinee's have been cancelled during the holiday season so they can do three show's on Wednesday's which is a day most people take off to see a show or something.

Check out Black Watch at St Ann's Warehouse in Dumbo, Brooklyn. They used to have Friday matinees and may still.

Black Watch is truly rarified, unforgettable and brilliant, but is definitely not for the family trade.

It plays through the 21st.

Friday matinees as a rule don't exist except during an exceptional scheduling situation like the Friday after Thanksgiving. However there may be some playing the 26th since only a few shows will play Christmas Eve evening and those performances have to be rescheduled sometime.
