It seems like the Fringe website is really starting to list details about this year's festival, and there looks to be a lot interesting shows involved. Anybody have any ideas on what seem like best ones to see? I know I'll be buying a frequent viewer pass no matter what!

Check out Subway Train if you can! I was supposed to see it when I go up to NYC in August, but it's playing a few days after I've already left! *sighs* guess i'm not meant to see it! Oh well...but it's supposed to be really good and it's Joshua Kobak whom I adore!

Check out SUBWAY TRAIN!! (like was said above)
It's a beat poetry musical written by Joshua Kobak, Katy Pffafl and Mickey Fisher. (Yassmin Alers is in it as well) It's REALLY REALLY good. If you're into poetry or singing or the subway as a metaphor for life, well then you must go see it!
I've seen it performed and it's DEFINITELY worth a look!!
I'm also going to see Andru's Head b/c Asa Somers is in it and The Spickner Spin about a bum who gets elected mayor b/c I'm friends with the guy who wrote the music.
Any other suggestions?
The Wing Ding Doodle Club..only because Im a shill on that one. The cast is really great and the show is very sick =D

There are three types of frequent viewer passes. 5 shows for $65, 10 shows for $110 or an all access pass for $500 (meaning unlimited shows). I know if I had two straight weeks of nothing to do, and I was rich, I would get that! The shows are usually $15 each though, so the passes do end up saving you a few bucks.
Keep the suggestions coming! I know some of the people who post here must have some shows in this, or know people who do!
My friend wrote Spickner Spin, and from what I heard it's going to be really good. He has equity stars and a Bway choreographer doing it (I don't know, who, though).

I've actually heard about that show because I, too, talk to it's creator. I know a bunch of people are excited about it. I'm pretty sure it has one of the better venues as well.
There seem to be quite a few shows with equity/current Broadway actors in it this year. I'm not that familiar with the past festivals, so I don't know how common it is, but it's pretty cool!

Which Fringe are you talking about? Personally I'm excited about the Edinburgh Fringe in a couple of weeks. I managed to get tickets to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest before they announced Christian Slater was starring. Every show is now sold out.

I'm talking about the NYC Fringe that is taking place the last few weeks of August. I wasn't aware that there were Fringes in other places. I'm a little uncultured when it comes to this.
All of the above suggestions sound good. Thanks for the reccomendations!
I personally NEED to see Goonies the Musical. Come on people, it's the Goonies!

Oh I just find everyone I meet knows him haha
everyone meets seth via friendster. I used to talk to him but, I decided to nix my friendster account.
There certainly is going to be a Goonies Musical:

Thanks for the tidbit Amneris. At least I know that the singing will be top quality.

Now that tickets are on sale and such, what shows are everyone planning on going to? Any recommendations?

Since I know the director, I probably need to see "Andru's Head" at some point.

yes, my darling seth whores himself out to everyone lol
He seems to know nearly everyone I know... and for the friends of mine we don't share, he makes himself known to them lol

By the way, here's a link to the site the probably does the best job covering the Fringe Festival year after year. Amazingly, they actually review every single one of the 100+ shows in the festival. This link has excellent descriptions and essays on every one of the shows, written by each play's director, producer or playwright:
