Is this correct? I was just thinking about "The Frogs" and the zero Tony nominations it received. Is this the only Sondheim show to play Broadway that has never been nomonated for anything?

Posted: 5/14/05 at 12:55pmAll his other works have been nominated for something. I think Jonathan Tunick should have received an orchestrations nomination for The Frogs instead of Pacific Overtures.

I think Anyone Can Whistle and Merrily We Roll Along only got one nomination each- choreography for the former and score for the latter- but that's about as bad it's gotten for Sondheim shows.
