How is the front balcony of the St James. I'm looking to go see Something Rotten during my colleges spring break and want a good view at a cheaper reasonable price

It's not terrible. Definitely high up and a little cramped. I saw everything though.
this should help a bit...view from balcony couple rows back side
I sat front row of the balcony for Bullets Over Broadway and it was fine. It's high up but worth saving the money in my opinion.

Go for mezz at least--there are inexpensive seats out there. excellent show; been 3 times. balcony always looks WAY too high up and pointless.

Just make sure you get a full-view seat. I sat in a partial-view seat, and it was one of the worst views I've ever had.
I've only sat up there once, and I didn't care for it. I was in the center of row D, and everyone in front of me leaned forward for a better view of the stage forcing me to do the same. It was just an uncomfortable position to be in for 2.5 hours.

If I ever see Something Rotten again, it will be from the balcony. I think I will need to be that far away to feel like people aren't yelling and mugging directly at me.

What are prices for a close view still cheap. I want to be closish to see the show good but want cheaper prices. I'm going March 23rd matinee and the front balcony is cheap

I found tickets for 99$ row L of mezzanine center left. Is that a good view for the show or not. I want to know before purchasing the tickets
