Can anyone tell me what the stage door is like? I have front row seats and my plan is to rush out right after bows. Are there a lot of kids? I’m worried about not getting out fast enough and having to get through everyone else also trying to leave.

I just left the stagedoor and it was pretty crowded. However, as long as you head straight there you will be fine. They set up two different rows of barricades and they were quite long. I was in Orchestra Left Row E and I got there pretty quick. As for who signed tonight: Patti Murin (Anna), Jelani Alladin(Kristoff), Greg Hildreth(Olaf), John Riddle(Hans), Robert Creighton(Duke), Kevin Del Aguila(Oaken), and Timothy Hughes(Pabbie)

Where is the best spot to try and get to? Closer to the door or closer to the end of the line? I have never gone to a stage door before and want to know exactly where to hustle to when I try this!

On Wed night I was to the left of the stagedoor if you are facing it. I was close to the door since I was trying to catch Alyssa Fox. I did indeed catch her and got to chat for a bit.

I was to the right and got time with everyone. The cast seems pretty good at getting to everyone

I went in June and it wasn’t crowded at all. I ran but we got a spot and there wasn’t anyone behind us. The whole cast except for Cassie Levy came out, and the stagedoor is barricaded on both sides. (AKA, the fans are closed in)

I have stagedoored it three times now and was able to get a great spot each time. I was in right lower orchestra, front row once, and was still able to get a good spot. I'm just one person though so I moved quickly, and that time was a matinee. If you have multiple people maybe send your fastest person on and the others can catch up. I always waited to leave until the bows were over and the curtain was closing. If you exit through the rows of seats you can get out the side doors in the theater itself, which dump you right where you need to be. Don't dilly dally, and definitely don't got to the bathroom and you'll probably be ok. It does get crowded though, but not insane. As long as you're within the barricades you'll get signatures. The whole cast is great about going all the way up and down both sides if they are signing. One night I got to meet the whole cast plus a few ensemble members, the other shows Patti Murin, Jelani Aladdin, John Riddle, Greg Hildreth and Robert Creighton all came out. Caissie is very hit or miss because she has a 2 year old and babysitters to relieve. Don't expect to see her, then if you do it'll feel like a bonus and if you don't you won't be as disappointed. I met her on a Thursday, not sure if that is a pattern or not. She didn't come out on the Wednesday I was there, and I don't think she or Patti are coming out for matinees. Good luck and have fun!!! They are a great group of people!

So you can't get in the stage door line from the street? I normally run outside to meet my parents and then go to the stage door.

Yes you can get to it from the street, it's right on 44th :) They just set up metal stanchion things and want anyone stagedooring inside those as to not clog up the sidewalk for people trying to pass the theater. If you are standing still outside those, security will ask you to keep walking.

You can get a good spot. We were sitting all the way in the back in the two seat rows. We left after the curtain closed but before bows. We used the bathroom, and ran down to the stage door. We were first but we got a good spot. A few people signed. By the time they were done signing, Anastasia let out and we went to chat with Christy at her stage door. Can definitely hit both at one time!
