The site starts with this quote (author unknown) "Give a man a discount code, you have found him a discount code for today. TEACH a man to find a discount code and you have found him discounts for a lifetime".
Broadway World offers incredible discounts, but even more can be found at the Frugal Theatergoer's Guide to Discount Tickets.
It certainly worked for me. EVERYTHING you need to know, PLUS direct links to the sites that are offering the discounts. Being from Texas, I can't chance the lottery or student rush.. they're just too iffy... but this site helped me find tickets at about 30-40% discount for my trip to NYC in June. Every dollar counts for me. The more shows I get a discount at... the more shows I can see.
Hope this might be something that not all of you knew already. And if you did, well.... EXUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE ME! LOL

Guess I'll "bump" through the weekend, if needed. There are definitely people on here who will want this information. Right?

I used to go to that a lot when looking for discounts. Broadwaybox.com is a great site too. I know, I ALWAYS mention that when people discuss discounts, but it seems to be one of the most up-to-date websites and has most show codes.

I know about BwayBox, didn't know this one - thanks!

Thanks for the heads-up. I bookmarked the site. I'm proud to say I was able to see "Avenue Q," "Spring Awakening," "Company," "Grey Gardens," and "A Chorus Line" when I was in in NYC and didn't pay full price for any of them. With these ever-rising ticket prices, these discount sites are a theatregoers best friend.

Thank goodness for discounts/rushes. If they didn't exist, I probably wouldn't have been able to see 95% of the shows I did.
