Posting to help my fellow BWW posters looking for a good affordable option for this show. I intended to post this in the FH lotto thread, but I couldn't find it.
Anyway, I realized at 10:03 this morning that I had forgotten to enter the digital lotto, which closes at 10. My friend and I walked over to Circle in the Square to see if there were SRO available. Arrived at about 10:18. Spoke to the very polite and energetic box office staff, reporting that we had neglected to enter the lotto and if there were any affordable options for today's matinee. The lovely goddess of the box office said that they had $52 partials, then stated, "but I'll give you good seats." I then told her that it was my 4th and final time seeing the show and would it be at all possible to sit in the section facing the orchestra since I hadn't sat there yet, thinking my friend and I would be lucky to get last row in that section for that price. She gave us row C, dead center premium seats for the $52! The house looked well-sold and this was the best I've ever seen the show. My friend, who saw FH for the 11th time today, agreed that it is in as wonderful shape as ever, and it has evolved over every performance. Hope this anecdote helps someone here get great seats for a great price! Good luck!
That's awesome, congrats!! I've also noticed they always have great box office staff there.
