It's not really all that fun, but last Jun I got to meet the entire cast of The Odd Couple minus Nathan Lane. That was pretty awesome. I'm sure though as you can guess, I was there for Nathan, so after the crowd cleared out, there were about 5 Nathan fans who waited a few extra minutes, just in case. While we were standing there, a guy started yelling at the building, "Come out Nathan, We know you're in there. Come on Nathan, it's not like we're going to hurt you." That's when I realized that what I was doing was kind of creepy, so I walked off. I still wait outside stage doors sometimes, but not to the point where I feel like I am stalking a person!

I was at the last performance of RENT in Hong Kong and I drew a cariacature of Caren Lyn Manuel and I gave it to her at the stagedoor, she was so happy, she hugged me and gave me a copy of her solo album (which is btw awesome!)!

I was also at the last performance of Mamma Mia in Hong Kong and the cast was just SO SO SO amazingly friendly, posed for pictures and signed my stuff and chatted for awhile. I gave Kelli Rhode (Sophie) a card with her cariacature and she cried and gave me a kiss :P I saw that cast 3 times in their short stay in Hong Kong... they'll stay VERY special in my heart!

I was at the last performance of Ruthie Henshall as Velma in Chicago in London which is also last performance of Backstreet Boy member Kevin Richardson and Brian May's wife Anita Dobson. There were like 500 people at the stagedoor! Anyway, we all waited for around 1 hr before they came out. When Ruthie came out, I gave her a bouque of lilies and said it was for her baby girl Lily and she was like 'OMG! That is SO SO sweet! THANK YOU!' and hugged me :P

I went to go see Mamma Mia on Broadway, November 26, 2006. After the show was over, I went to the bathroom one more time before I left to go home(I live in Pennsylvania). So, as we were walking out,I saw a little girl onstage with her mother and some other guy and I whispered to my mother "if I could have all but two seconds on that stage, I would be so happy". So, my mom said that we could wait at the backstage door and meet the actors. The security guard there was so sweet. And the backstage door wasn't that crowded either. It was my mother and I, four little girls and their parents. So, it was the six of us and it was so cold out that night. So, I met Carey Anderson, Gina Ferrall, Judy McLane(I have the picture of me and her on my myspace), Carolee Carmello, David McDonald, Andy Kelso and Pearce Bunting. I got the nerve to talk to one of the actors about their career. So, I said to Pearce "What's it like to be on Broadway? It's my dream and I'm a future musical theater major and I'm in my last high school Drama production right now" and then he interrupted me asking me where I was going to college. I told him that I want to go to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He smiled and said that he went there. He took my playbill(again after he signed it) and gave me his email address and told me that he'd like to help me get an audition and would be happy to write me a recommendation. I was in tears, of joy of course! He told me that he liked my style and personality and that he was sure I'd make it to a Broadway stage soon.
And if that wasn't enough, it was one of the little girls birthdays and she wanted to be an actor. So, the really sweet security guard said to her and her friends and her parents that since it was her birthday, he would give her a backstage tour and let them go on the stage. I wanted to ask so badly and my mom wanted me to. So, after all the other actors left, he was getting them ready to go in and take a mini tour. But, before he went in, he came over to me and my mom and said "since I'm such a sweetie, I'll let you come in too" I was hyperventilating! I was on the stage where Barbra Streisand sang "People" and where Betty Buckely sang "Memory" and where "West Side Story" was performed!!! I've got one of the pictures of me onstage up on my myspace. It was amazing. I'll post a few of my other stories soon.

After the closing performance of The Vertical Hour Julianne Moore's husband (Bart Freundlich) and their two kids were there. Cal (the son) was being 9 and just got in the waiting car. Liv (daughter...she's now 5) came out with Julianne and started signing autographs (points to avitar ~ that's Liv!). After a few minutes, Bart rolled the window in the car down to ask if she wanted to get in the car and she looked at him, said "No!" and continued signing. A minute or so later, Julianne escorted her to the car where there proceeded to be a discussion between Bart and Cal about Cal taking up the whole back seat. Once Live was strapped into her booster, she started banging on the window and making faces at Julianne who was like "I see you." and grinning. It was really cute.

And Bart was nice too. I chatted with him briefly about his movies and how the kids in my class really settle when I put on the soundtrack for The Myth of Fingerprints. He was as gracious as Julianne was every time I went.
