Funny Girl Concert

Why the hell was this concert not recorded for CD? The Dreamgirls concert was. And as far as I know, Hair was recorded in a studio with the concert cast. I love the performers in Funny Girl. Anyone know why it wasn't recorded a la Dreamgirls and Hair? Updated On: 12/29/04 at 02:39 PM

Chess wasn't either
my guess is they probably couldn't get every actor's individual record companies to sign a release to let the concerts be recorded
(you'll notice in the Dreamgirls booklet it has Lillias White appearing with permission)

This is true. I read the same thing for Heather Headley appearing courtesy of her record company.

I would of loved to of heard the Funny Girl concert.
