i think lillias white should be the next motor mouth and john goodman as the next edna. i surprised lillias was not cast as motor mouth in the beginning? but i do like mary bond davis she is awsome!!

I don't think Lea DeLaria is an especially warm performer. Edna really needs the warmth Harvey brings to the role. That is one concern I have with Vilanch in the tour. I'd like to see Charles Busch or Everett Quinton try it.

Personally, I don't ever want a woman to play Edna (no offense). I think it would take something from the show.

Note the above and....it should never be played by a woman! The late DIVINE would roll over in grave!
And what with the San Andreas fault and all!

Harvey Korman would be very interesting - after all the Mother Marcus skits on Burnett...but at his age could he handle 8 shows a week. Maybe alternate with someone for an LA engagement. Tim Conway 4 performances, Korman 4 performances..?

Maragaret Cho as Tracy would be "Tasty" !
