Saw the dress r. last night. Of course a really nice score and neat to see Rob Fisher conducting again. One of the lamest books and least motivated set of song cues ever though! This seems like a production where the 11th hour stars Encores usually gets, never showed. (Sorry, not a Wicked groupie). But Newman from Seinfeld was funny and does a great Al Jolson impression. Marc Kudisch was fun and the whole cast was competent. I actually liked the corny humor but this show is a little bit of a chore.

Beware elderly singalongs during But Not For Me and Embraceable You and loud audience members tapping along during I Got Rhythm.
