Hi all !
Well, I think this is the show that I'll disagree with many friends from here ! I REALLY enjoyed it ! It was pure fun and certainly way more enoyable than LITTLE MERMAID that I saw Thursday night (I know, that doesn't say much !) Anyway, i had a very good time, Andrea Martin was phenomenal, Christopher Fitzgerald was hilarious, Sutton was great and my beloved Megan was wonderful, though I think that she knows that people have come to see Karen and she plays on that ! Jon Patrick Walker was really good, though I haven't seen Roger Bart to make any comparison ! The physical production was top-notch and I got my money's worth, which is what I had hoped for ! I think that the show got many non-deserving harsh comments, it's a fun night out and nothing more and it does a really good job at that ! I personally never liked The Producers, but I enjoyed this, way more ! I'd give it a 7 out of 10 !
Unfortunately Megan didn't come out of the stage-door, but Sutton did and I got a great pic with her !!

I'm glad you had fun. I definitely agree with your thoughts in that I had a great time and felt like I got my money's worth when I saw it. And congrats on the great pic with Sutton. She didn't come out when I saw it.

GMF, I totally agree. I had a good time, and enjoyed myself. Not the best show I saw, but a good production worth the money.

My only complaint with the show (well, not my only complaint. The music was a tad bland) is that all of the funny jokes came from the movie. I wish they could have altered the book a tad to add some more funny lines. Also, I found that some scenes (especially those in the forest) just didn't fit in the musical.

I can't stop listening to Sutton yodeling on ROLL IN THE HAY, and I really hope Chris Fitzgerald wins a Tony. He was PHENOMENAL.

I'm going to put them all up on my fan photos, as soon as I find the time, which is probably when I'll get home ! So far I have pics with Sutton, Aaron Tveit (the current Link, gorgeous), Lin Manuel and Kerry !!!!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it too, and that all 3 of our favorite ladies were in the show last night. They've all been taking time off lately so consider yourself very lucky, and especially 'cause Roger Bart was out since he's the weakest link in the show (in my opinion.) I would love to see JPW in that role... he's just too damned cute. I've only seen him on TV or walking the dog in GV - lol.

Btw GMF - I got your msg & I love you too and can't wait to see you (and John) again on Sunday. Have fun seeing all your shows till then.

Glad you really liked the show. I know I enjoyed it when I saw it! I am kinda jealous you got a picture with Sutton though, she didn't come out when I was there. Megan did though, so I guess we're even
