*another* revival produced by david ian is slated to open in august in the uk.
in '93 ian produced the hit revival starring debbie gibson. a few months later over here in the states the tommy tune/weissler production of the music bowed on broadway.
only difference this time is that ian is producing both productions and the leads are being cast through reality shows.
